Gabriel Jesus has been speaking ahead of the match. The Arsenal striker has noted the threat that Bayern possess.

The former Manchester City striker has praised Harry Kane, who joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023.

The England international striker has been a star for Bayern this season. The 30-year-old has scored 32 goals and provided seven assists in 28 Bundesliga matches and has scored six goals and given three assists in eight UEFA Champions League games.

Gabriel Jesus impressed by player Arsenal sold under Arsene Wenger, Jesus has also noted other Bayern players who are a threat to Arsenal, and one of them is Serge Gnabry.

The winger is a former Arsenal player who left the Gunners for Werder Bremen in 2016 for £5 million.

Gnabry, who failed to make an impact at Arsenal, has been on the books of Bayern since 2017 and has been a star for the Bundesliga giants.

Jesus told The London Evening Standard: “Everyone knows the quality of Harry Kane. For me, personally, he’s the best finisher in the world.

“So, it’s great to obviously play against these kind of players. We want to keep him quiet in the game – and then we try to win the game.

“Also, it’s not only Harry Kane, but a lot of players like Sane, my old friend, Musiala, Coman, Muller – what a player – Gnabry. It’s a lot. They have quality players there.”

What Arsene Wenger said about Serge Gnabry

Arsene Wenger was in charge of Arsenal when the North London club sold Serge Gnabry, and he has previously spoken about the decision.

Wenger said in August 2023 about Gnabry: “I bought him at the age of 15 from Stuttgart and he was injured a lot.

“We had an agreement with him you know. I had given him out on loan to West Brom and he didn’t play a game. He came back, he was injured.

“We worked very hard with him for six months and he went out with the German national team, Under-21s, and Bayern made a deal with Werder Bremen.

“He wanted to sign in the end, didn’t want to extend his contract (with Arsenal) and I was very sad. But we couldn’t get over the line with him because I knew he would have a great career.”
